Mr. Alamgir graduated in 1988 as Mining Engineer and subsequently got a master degree in Rock Mechanics from UET Peshawar. He accomplished various projects covering all relevant aspects including Geo-technical and Geological Surveys for Underground as well as Surface Geology; Tunneling and Shaft Sinking; Designing of blasting pattern and drilling operations; storage, handling and checking of explosive quality; Core drilling of strata for sampling and investigation; Designing, laying and commissioning of gas and oil (high pressure / distribution) piping systems etc. He has recently completed two hydropower projects in the capacity of DPM / PM in the hilly areas of KP.

He has trained hundreds of engineers from various govt., semi-govt. and private organizations on computer software. Mr. Alamgir is proficient in AutoCAD, Water CAD, MapInfo (GIS), Eagle Point, MS Project, Surfer, MS Excel, MS Word etc.
