The project is located in District Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan. The project involved reconstruction of more than 200 structures including 23 Aqueducts, 49 Super-passages, 01 Siphon, 08 Escapes, 09 Falls, 31 Road Bridges, 18 Causeways, 88 Foot Bridges, 08 Intakes for Civil Channels, about 2.98 Km long Conduit and more than 1.75 Km of Retaining Walls etc. Baffa Maira Aqueduct being 792 m long and 11 m high is a special feature of the project.

The project was funded by Japanese Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and implemented by ERRA and Irrigation & Power Department, KP. NGI Japan has been the Design Consultants while AGES led consortium was responsible for the following services.
